How long have you been a photographer?
I bought my first camera with my first paycheck at 14. I started getting paid for my photography in 2012, and I’ve never looked back!
How do I know if we will be a good fit?
The best way to suss me out is to book in a chat. We can do this in person, over the phone or on Zoom. I’m happy to answer any questions you may have.
We simply must have you photograph our wedding! How do we book?
Well shucks, I love you too! We’re going to be the best of pals. Just shoot me an email and we’ll organise a time to catch up. You’ll then pay a 25% deposit, sign a contract and then the day is yours!
How far in advance do we have to book?
I usually book out at least 6 months in advance so I recommend getting in touch as soon as you can.
How long should we allow for photos?
Every wedding is different. We work together to create a timeline that suits you. The only thing I recommend is nipping out for a few photos as the sun is setting to get that gorgeous light.
Can you book my wedding without a deposit?
No, sorry. The date is only reserved once the 25% deposit has been paid and the contract has been signed. Dates are offered at a first come, first serve basis, so if you’re keen, let me know ASAP and let’s lock it down.
Do you offer payment plans?
Absolutely. There's a 25% non-refundable deposit to book the date, but I can help you out with a plan to pay the rest.
What if it’s bad weather on my wedding day?
It may change our schedule but we’ll work around it. You’ll find me calm and confident and ready to solve any problem. I’m a big believer in embracing the day as it unfolds. The more flexible you are, the better the day and your photos.
Do you do family photography?
I do! I love photographing families, particularly celebrating the birth of a new member or honouring your grandmother’s amazingness. Get in touch and we can book a date.
Do you offer engagement sessions?
Yes I do, upon request. I charge $850 for the session. If you absolutely love photos and want to record all the significant events in your life, let’s do it.
You'll fix everything in Photoshop, right?
I prefer taking photos that are fun, natural and real. That being said, I do edit all images so they look the absolute best they can be.
Do you travel for weddings?
Absolutely. I love travelling. A travel fee will be included for any distances over 1.5 hours from Eltham, Melbourne. Get in touch and I’ll send you a quote.
Do you have a second shooter?
It depends on the wedding and your personal preference. If you would like two perspectives of your wedding, then I recommend a second shooter. It’s an additional $150 per hour. All images are edited by me to make sure they have that consistent Nikki McCrone Photography style.
Do you offer albums?
Yep! I can’t recommend them highly enough. Your wedding photos will be presented in a stunning flat lay archival ink album that will become a family heirloom to hand down. Want to see examples? Just ask.
How do I get prints?
I provide a link to a print store to one of my favourite Australian labs, Atkins. Happy to walk you through this step if you need any help.
How many images do I get?
I deliver 75+ photos for each hour of coverage. So if you book me for 4 hours, you get 300+. Trust me, I work my ass off to get you as many awesome photos as I can.
How long will it take to receive our images?
My turnaround time is no longer than 8 weeks. But I do send through a few images that I love a few days after your wedding, so you can get excited for the rest to arrive.
